French Bench

I recently renovated a French style bench, which had once graced one of the parks in Paris. It was quite a challenge as it had 21 slats compared to the usual UK types which have only 12. Here are the before and after photographs. The slats are made from Grade C16 CLS (Canadian Lumbar Standard) pressure treated wood and are secured in place with stainless steel screws from behind to provide a smooth wave-effect seat area.
